I purchased a vehicle with a Citifinancial Auto loan. After owning the used vehicle for over five years only $11,000.00 has been applied to the principle. Purchase price $30,000....In 2008, I owe $21,000.00. Never mind the fact that I was affected by Hurricane Katrina.

I'm seriously unsure how the fact that Citi does what EVERY other lender does (gets their interest first) is predatory. Or a rip off. Sure, it sucks. But this is a very standard practice. They loaned you money, so I'm not sure how a natural disaster plays into this unless you want sympathy. Do you have reason to believe that Citi CAUSED the natural disaster.

Also, did Citi force you into the purchase of a $30K car? I think not. That was your choice. The fact that your credit was only good enough to get you Citi financing, again, is on you.
