Columbia House Records & Tapes - Columbia House Music Unable to get credit refund unsatisfactory nonexistent customer service substandard business practices Terre Haute Indiana

I joined Columbia House with their 'deal' to buy so many CD's for little dollars. I sent in my choices and received a shipment of the requested choices along with a few other tapes (Latin) not ordered. I returned the non-ordered tapes and received a bill for +$100.00. I sent a letter asking where this billed amount was coming from.

I then received another shipment with the exact cd's as the first shipment, no explanation, nor a response to my first letter about the bill. I sent the opened package back, I had to pay for return and return receipt along with another letter asking why I received another shipment of the same cd's. I then received an EXACT same shipment again. A bill was received separately saying they were going to send me to collection if I did not pay in 15 days.

I sent in the $179.?? to get them off my back and figured once they got their sh-- together, they would owe me. I now have a credit of $149.85 and they will not send it to me. They want me to order more from them. I do not want to deal with them and have sent letters stating that fact. I am unable to get my credit owed to me from Columbia House. They are rip-off's and their customer service is non-existent. Their billing is the pits!
