Digital Outlets Bait and switch with no shipment of product and no refund. TOTAL RIPOFF!!! Granite Bay CA Internet

I've never been treated so badly by a company. I wish I had read the Ripoff Report before I was taken advantage of by Digitaloutlets.net

In may of 2016 I decided to upgrade cameras and order a Canon 5DS. Being a person who likes to do research before buying,I did the usual online search. WOW Digitaloutlets.net seemed to have the best bang for my buck so I ordered it. Just like the other reviews from other unsatisfied customers on Ripoff Report, I received the email stating someone would call to verify my order.

My call from customer service stated that I ordered the Japanese version of the camera thus the cheaper price. Not true considering the ad doesn't state anything about any version variances. The person stated that if I wanted the camera, that I would have to pay more for the American version.

Being anxious to get this fabulous camera, I agreed. Then I was told that I should get the extended warranty that totally cover the camera no matter what. Considering the cost I figured I should do that and agreed. I was told they were going to expedite shipment and would have it in a few days.

The next day I received the confirmation email with tracking information. They obviously DO NOT carry any product in stock. The tracking information was for shipment to them and not me.

Two weeks later I call because there was no activity on the tracking site, and I had not received my camera. I was told that I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and need to calm down. REALLY? I just spent $3500 on a camera and have nothing to show for it!

A month later tracking started to show on the UPS site showing shipment from Brooklyn NY to Granite Bay CA. It was signed for by the employee that gave me crap on the phone, Chernaya.

I notified my bank that I had been ripped off and requested a stop of payment. VISA said that the store refused refund and nothing could be done.

Obviously this scam online store loves to ripoff customers by luring them in with a cheap price, bait and switch to get more money, and then never ships anything to customers. That's theft plain and simple. Too bad there is nothing that can be done. YET
