ll ve been with Dir ecTV s ince February 2014. since I've had DirecTV have yet to have a good experience with them. when they came to install my DirecTV the man who was installing it was here about 7 hours and when he was finished I realized it wasn't the the package or equipment that I ordered so after having him there for 7 hoursI had to spend an additional hour and a half on the phone just for them to tell me that I had to upgrade my equipmentand and pay a 99.00 Fee on top of the 300 deposit that I was charged twice for. I had originally gone down to the att store to order DIRECTV because I was getting an amazing deal and I was going to get the free Genie upgrade but after they put in the so for the next two hours atT was on the phone with DIRECTV trying to sort it outcuz I was chargedbut what ended up happening was I got on the phone with DIRECTV I tried explaining to them the package I was gettingthey agreed to give me the same package atT was going to give me I gave them a different credit card they charged me again and after the guy did my cableI realized nothing was what I ordered And I ended up having to pay for the upgrade and have the guy there another 2 hours redoing everything . so the genie works well for a whilebut then I start having problems all of the sudden I can't download movies on pay per view I try to downLoad  I go through the whole ordering processit takes hours to download and when I play itI can only watch the first four minutes of the movie so I forget about it try to order something elseand the same thing happens well I figured since you couldn't watch the movie you were going to get charged but that's not truecuz I called because I got charged for a bunch of stuff on my bill that I couldn't watchand the lady told me that I had 24 hours from the time I ordered to call otherwise they won't reimburse youso because of the problem I was having downloading movies I told them that I wanted a new boxsince I paid for the premium insuranceso a technician gets sent outand he can't find anything wrong with the boxbut he can't give me a new one because he needs approvalso once again I'm on the phone with DIRECTV another 2&a I make it all the way to A supervisor I'm try and then I would like a replacement box since I pay for the insuranceand the technician that came out was telling me they're having a lot of problems with the genie and he said that I needed a new box even though he couldn't find anything technically wrong with the one I had but the supervisor wouldn't approve it so I asked him what my warranty covers and he said that he could not tell me that but he could tell me what my warranty does not coverand he said it does not cover any damage that's causso I asked to speak to his supervisor and he told me that that could take all night but he would gladly put me on hold so I hung up cryingand called back againI finally got somebody reasonablewith the insurance department for the cable box that this nice lady connected me tohe gave you okay to replace the cable boxit worked great for a minutebut now the new box is doing the same thingI pay an extra $25 to have this box a monthand it doesn't work rightI have to spend an hour and a half on the phone every time I order a movieand now recently when I get my billI'm being charged for movies I ordered in March and its August I had to sign up for paperless billingbecause the bills I would get in the mail weren't detailedand they were always lateso I would get a late fee so I signed up for paperless billingand it would say one priceand when I would call to pay my billthe automated system would tell me I owE a different priceso I'm getting two different prices for one monthso I call them and tell them that I want to get out of my contract what do I have to do and they tell me its going to be 400 I asked if they can take it out of the deposit and the lady told me that they give me a little bit of my deposit with each bill in the form of a discount but I don't see anysing that shows me credits for my deposIt and now I just don't know what to do
