EHarmony is the absolute worst and most sneaky/corrupt dating site (due to their non refund policy and sneaky auto renewal/cancelation scam) I have ever joined and has been a nightmare for me to get rid of ever since joining.  I signed up for a 1 year subscription.  I immediately knew this site was not for me.  They select a limited number of matches daily from seemingly random people, ages and location across the world who I had no interest in.  I immediately voiced my concerns with the site that I was not interested and wanted to cancel but I was told that refund was not allowed and that I could not turn of auto renewal until my final payment for the 1 year subscription 3 part payment was made.  Sometime after the final payment I remember searching through their site trying to figure out how to turn off autorenewal and delete my membership.  I distinctly remember emailing eharmy explaining that I wanted help to delete my account yet I did not get any response from them.  I recently was outraged to see that I had been charged yet again for a new one year subscription which I  once again cannot get out of nor turn off autorenewal until the $150 odd 3 part payment is paid in full!  For two years it will be at least $300.00 they took from me for services which are substandard and I do not use.  I explained to their customer service agent that I did not even know my account was still active, that I had already contacted and complained to them a few times about not wanting a membership and it had only been charged the day before, could I please cancel and turn off auto renewal as well as get a refund.  The agent just kept reiterating that the only way he would allow me to turn off autorenewal was if I paid the 1 year membership in full at that moment, a membership which I do not want and had no forwarning I would be charged for!  They make absolutely no acceptions and would not give me a refund or turn off autorenewal.  I beleive eharmony is a huge scam.  I have not encountered such problems with any other dating site.  Customer satisfaction should always come first.  I will let the world know how little this company seems to care about their customers, the impression I got from this situation is that they do not care if they have unhappy customers and leave a bad impression/taste all they want is your money.  Their dating service sucks and is substandard/deeply lacking compared to other dating sites.  I will let all my friends know of my feelings about eharmony and my experience.
