Had a salesman come to my home because we needed carpeting in 1 bedroom. Received a quote on the 'cheapest' carpet they had for a 12x12ft room. I was originally quoted $966. After I told him that the rate was overpriced and ridiculous, he said, let me give you an additional percentage off, the new quote is $725. For a 12x12 room that will take them about an hour to install? RIDICULOUS
I called a local company who quoted me $231.00. Stay FAR away from Empire Carpets.

No thank you, I had the local company here today who installed the same exact carpet for $250.00 and they got the job done in less than 45 minutes!
