In September of 2013 we had Express flooring install laminate flooring in our kitchen and living room. Around February of 2014 we noticed that a few planks of the laminate were starting to warp in the kitchen area and that in the living room and kitchen it was starting to bubble up. We contacted the service department. they sent out someone who took pictures and said they would get back with us. the customer service manager Dave sent out his installers to look at the flooring. As soon as they saw the problem they said oh that is water damage you must have a leak. I assured him that there was no leaking from the sink or dishwaser, and that if there was a leak i would immagine that more than a couple planks would be damaged. they proceeded to tell me that they could not fix it because the new cabinets that we had installed went to the wall under the cabinets so they had no starting point that they could start. After they left i called the customer service manager Dave back and he told me that i must have a leak, or that moisture was causing the problem.
after i assured him that there was no leak he then told me that by us puting the cabinets on top of the flooring that voided the warranty. i check the warranty on the paperwork i signed and no where does it say that installing cabinet on the flooring voided the warranty
Dave called me back and said that he had paperwork to show that installing cabinets on the laminate flooring voided the contract, i said fine email or mail it to me, he said he would.
dave called me back about ten minutes later and told me that he has no such paperwork and that mistakes were made and the warranty is void and nothing they can do for us.
i spent over $10,000 on this flooring.

File your complaint with the Registrar of Contractors (ROC). I got fast action after I filed my complaint with the ROC. They ROC can pull Express's license if they get too many complaints against them. IF YOU HAVE DEALT WITH THESE PEOPLE AND ARE HAVING A PROBLEMS GETTING THEM TO DO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO, CONTACT THE ARIZONA REGISTRAR OF CONTRACTORS AND FILE A COMPLAINT. I FILED 2 COMPLAINTS WITH THE BBB AND NOTHING HAPPENED. AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF TRYING TO GET THEM TO DO THEIR JOB CORRECTLY, I FINALLY FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE REGISTRAR OF CONTRACTORS AND THAT WOKE THEM UP. web site for Registrar of Contactors: http://www.rc.state.az.us/ phone number: (602) 542-1525 and Toll Free outside Maricopa County within Arizona: (888) 271-9286 BBB web site: http://www.arizonabbb.org/ address and phone number: 4428 North 12th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014 602.264.1721 Phone 1.877.291.6222 Toll-free - 602.263.0997 Fax Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm Report Attachments:
