Here is yet another example of the blatant labor violations FedEx engages in.
They try to avoid union labor by breaking up into multiple divisions that they contract out. Ok..Thats legal, although unethical.
However, the CONTRACTORS run ads to hire drivers which they want to then call independent contractors! This is flat out illegal and that driver IS an employee, BY LAW!
This guy named Craig was running an ad in the TRANSPORTATION JOBS section of Craigslist, Sarasota - Bradenton, on Wed Jul 14 2010.
His phone # is: 941-323-3268.
We really need to pull together and stop illegal employment practices as it hurts the good, legal employers and destroys our already damaged SS system.
This guy and people like him are why our SS system is broke, and why they are now looking at raising the age to start obtaining benefits to 70!
People need to take these "jobs" just long enough to do the IRS form SS-8!
