Fidelity National Home Warranty Fraudulent. Does not deliver services per contract or refund purchase. ripoff Walnut Creek, California

This company sells home warrantees, frequently in conjunction with the sale or purchase of a new home. They do not have adequate coverage to fix home problems when they happen. In my case, the house was without running water due to a plumbing problem and they could not locate a plumber within 24 hours as they promise, and as they are legally required to do in Nevada. When I reminded them of their obligation they responded by saying that they had met their obligation because they had begun to look for a plumber within 24 hours.

Finally, they said I could find one on my own, and if I met certain conditions, they would reimburse me. They then provided me with a lengthy list of the plumbers that I could NOT use because these plumbers wouldn't work under the terms required by Fidelity. I finally got the problem fixed several days later on my own and Fidelity did pay, but going without running water for several days is NOT acceptable. They absolutely refused to give me a refund saying that I had a contract and basically, screw you.

I cannot say enough about their poor service and lousy attitude. Do NOT do business with this company. You will regret it if you do.
