Fifth Third Bank ripoff Overdraft Abuse Credit Card Fraud Lombard Illinois

53 bank issued a credit card in my name without authorization and charged overdraft fee's to it. When I called the bank to state that someone had used my credit card without authorization, the Customer Service rep stated that was the way they did overdraft protection and that I should pay the fee immediately to avoid interest accruing. To add: I had a credit card with them and never had used it, I believed this is the credit card they made the charges to. HOwever, I checked my account later that same day and noticed a 2nd credit card on my account that hadn't been there before. It had been opened the day my account when into overdraft by someone other than myself. Overdraft fee's in excess of $500.00.
