Furniture USA ripoff Consumer Alert Website Forum a Scam Too? Clemmons North Carolina

The Furniture USA's Main website recently defaulted to a "Consumer Alert" which was linked to a "forum" of information and discussion regarding the fraud. The forum was originally open to anyone who went there, which enabled possible future victims to see what was going on before actually becoming a victim.

Now you have to be a registered user to view it. There were questions as to who was "running" the new site and the administrator didn't seem to like some of the questions and remarks made. That site wants people to give information so it can be given to the "authorities". I think at this point us victims have been able to file their own reports with the proper authorities. Directing people to give information that can be given to authoritis may confuse people into thinking they HAVE ACTUALLY reported their information to the authorities. Why the secrecy?

This site (ripoffreport)is clearly open to the public whereas anyone and everyone can view it, state their own opinions, and is sure to be run by people totally NOT affiliated with Furniture USA. It is important to have this information readily accessible to everyone in order to prevent any future victims. Unless the "administrator" can be open as to who is running and owns the site and who is directing the forum, I would proceed with caution. Afterall, it still has the name "Furniture USA" which defines fraud, deceit, lies, and theft. Again, why the secrecy??? Must have something to hide!

I'm tired of Furniture USA's games and I definitely don't want to get burned again. Everyone needs to report directly to the authorities discussed in here. Telling your story to the administrator in Furniture USA's forum does not hold any legal bearing. If someone can't divulge their identity that wants to administrate a website known to be fraudulant, that should set the alarms off; especially if they got you once.

All that the victims have been asking for is the truth! Is that so difficult? Anyone out there know the truth?
