Galerie Concorde fraud, misrepresentation Montreal Quebec Canada

I am filing this report because my story is EXACTLY the same as that of Maria from Santa Rosa, CA who has also posted a report on this site. I was targeted by a broker by the name of Linda Stocker who persuaded me to purchase a similiar amount of art by many of the same artists. I, too, received official appraisals and certificates of authenticity. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau in Montreal, however, they did nothing for me. Like Maria had done, I contact the gallery often to check the value of my collection. Of course, I am told it continues to increase or hold its value. My current broker is Harold Sendel who was also mentioned in Maria's report. He also told me that 9/11 put a real damper on the market and encourged me to broker my pieces through Ebay or other means. I spoke with Mr. Sendel recently. He tells me the market is doing better and that several of the pieces I have requested to sell are in the first and second positions giving an impression that they will move soon. However, I have had piece in "first position" for over five years. The reason I am writing this report is because I feel I was targeted by Galerie Concorde because of my status as a professional in the medical field. I have seen other negative blogs and such about Galerie Concorde that report they target professionals in certain fields that they feel have to money to "invest" in their art. I am not sure of the legalities of this behavior, however, I see that Maria's case has been settled. My hope is that I can find a lawyer who is familiar with this scam, or similar scams, that can help me recoup my losses. I feel I am owed the money I invested plus the 10 years of interest I have accrued. I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help.
