My wife purchased what she thought was 3 individual games from the Gamehouse website. We found that she had been signed u for an annual membership that wants to charge her $5.99/month. When she tried to cancel they want to charge the balance of the 12 - $5.99 fees. There is no other way to cancel. If we cancel than her card gets charged. If we don't cancel than we continue to be charged each month.
The Gamehouse website claims "All games $5.99 for everyone!*" at the bottom of the page "* billing Overview: Free 7 day trial, then just $19.99 a month, No Commitments, Cancel Anytime. This is deceptive at best and fraud at worst. We reported them to the credit card company.

I have been to gamehouse and on the gameclub, and I own some of their games.
I just revisited the site and I think you might want to check that again. There is nothing that says all games $5.99 for everyone, period.
The gamehouse club membership entitled you to purchase at $5.99. You get billed every month for $5.99 and if you don't buy a game, those "tickets" accrue. You can buy a game anytime using those credits. And you do have to pay the membership for a full year (ie: 12 games @ $5.99)
On the gameclub page, simply click "tell me more" or "gameclub faqs". It's all right there.
It's been this way for a while. I think your wife might have missed something when she bought the games.
Bigfish games is the same, though currently they have an add on their page that says "games $6.99 every day". My current membership is with Bigfish games.
