Global Promotions The Mega Millions Draw Strathmore, Alberta

I received a letter today telling me that I was one of the thrid category winners of "The Mega Millions Draw" held in September, 2007. I was given a check fror $4,450.00 and told that I needed to pay for the taxes on the money before they would release the total grand prize of $250,000.00. The Company that the check was written on is a legitmate company which I called to inform them that their name was being used on this scam and they told me that the calls had been pouring in for the last few days and that they are handeling the problem. Please don't fall for this, the check looks very legitimate and could be easily mistaken for a real one.

Maybe Global Promotions should have known that I don't play the Mega Millions and they wouldn't have waisted a stamp on my!!
