Global Promotions Winner of the Mega Millions Draw, September 15, 2007 Strathmore Alberta

I received a letter from Global Promotions stating that I was a third catergory winner of the Mega Millions Draw from September 15, 2007.

The prize is $250,000.00. Also enclosed is a check for $4450.00 to pay Tax Clearance fees of which $3400.00 is to be paid to Gerald Johnson, 864-756 Main St, Stathmore, AB, Canada via Money gram or Western Union in order to pay the tax and claim your prize money.

The phone number given to contact the "agent" states that the mailbox is full and can't take any more messages.

The bank is a legitimate bank in Texas as is the account holder. I have reported this to our local news investigative reporter and the proper authorities to investigate further.
