Go Daddy Godaddy.com Godaddy SSL Automatic Renewal Forced Revoke to Cancel Also Cancels Current SSL Permenatly, Paid for 12 months got 11 months Internet

Godaddy automcatically renewed my SSL, 1 month before it expires at a inflated price. They claim the reason to renew an SSL a full 30 days before it expires is so that there is NO INTERRUPTION in service.  Well this is fraud because in order to use the new SSL that they automatically renewed me for I have to perform a manual ReKey of the SSL on both my server side and the godaddy account side. By doing this it is simply impossible NOT to have an interruption in service.

I did not want it to be renewed, especially at that much inflated rate, in the first place.

I called in about 10 minutes after receiving notice of the automatic renewal.

In order to cancel the automatic renewal and get my money back I had to revoke the SSL. So I did what he told me. Then to find out that in order to cancel the 2nd renewed SSL I had just also canceled the 1st SSL that still had 1 entire month of eligibility and usage on it. So I paid for 12 months of use for the first SSL but only got 11. They wont refund me for 1 month or give me a 1 month credit on buying a new one.

They act as if these 2 SSLs are completely tied together. When they are completely seperate, because in order to use the 2nd SSL (renewed year) I would have to REKEY on both the Godaddy account side and my server side. This shows that they are separate and not one united 2 year long SSL.

Therefore I should be able to cancel the 2nd SSL (renewed year), and still use the remaining month on my SSL that I paid for.

There was simply no other options available to me. I either was forced to pay the automatic renewal that I was not aware of or to cancel the automatic renewed year and forfeit 1 month of the current SSL I already paid for.

Either pay more money or loose the money I already paid.
