GOLDEN MOMENTS STUDIO BUYER BEWARE!!! Batavia Ohio

This company was in our (small) town in Indiana and came door to door asking for $20 that would be a fundraiser to our local fire department. We gave the $20 and were told that we would receive a free 10x13 portrait of our family. We went and got the pitcure taken on May 16 and of course they took us into another room and we were offered to buy more.

We took them up on it, because we have a (at the time) 3 months old baby girl and hadn't had any professional pics taken yet. For $95 we purchased 1 8x10, 1 5x7, and a sheet of 8 wallets, and a CD of the 4 poses that were taken so we could have more printed. So altogether we spent $115 and now 10 weeks later, we have nothing to show for it. She is now almost 6 months and its time to have more pics taken.

I filed a BBB complaint as well as an Ohio State Attorney General complaint, and today I went a filed a dispute with my bank. Since they charged my debit card, the bank will now be researching it and I will have my money back in 10 days. This company is a total rip-off. Everyone beware. Fire Departments beware! All this company will do is give you a bad name!!!!!!
