Somehow hp seems to figured a way to disable the ink level from being used when refilled or another brand cartdrige is used. While they may not be preventing the use of the above per se. The indicator will not function unless THEIR brand, and new cartdrige is used. I wonder if this still is not a violation of being able to use other brands.

I have had an HP printer for years and I have no trouble with the ink. I even have them refilled at Walgreens and ahve had no problem. You can not use one brand of printer cartridge in a different printer. For example you can not put a Lexmak cart into an HP . Each brand of printer has thier own unique cartridge.

Ink Cart's have mocrochips in them, that report to lowest level the ink has ever been to. Filling the ink back up, doesnt make the lowest level its ever been at change.

This is not a ripoff, or anything like that
