H&P Capital Eric Ross , Tim Houfman h&p capital has been calling men and being very rude threating arrest if money is not paid in full by 2 pm today. The man even yelled at me and told me find somebody to pay it now. Or be delt with Internet

Last night i returned home from the movies with my daughter and fiance. And listed to a message from a Eric Ross ext # 145 from hp capital. It was very threating, stating he was calling on a complaint that was made on me out of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

Stating that if I do not return his phone call he is not liable for the embarrasing actions that will be takin on me in front of my home. To call him to make a statement on my situation and let me know my rights.

I returned the phone call, and he called me back this morning 8/14/09. My daughters birthday. He informed me that I had 4 hours to pay them $365.00 by wetsern union or he will release my check sweep information to the proper athorties and I will be arrested. He told me to call him back with the western union money transfer control number.

I asked him what this was about. He told me that I have an outstanding amount with money mart and they contacted them to take furter action on this matter. He was the rudest person I have ever spoken to.

I looked into it and found many complaints on H and P on the internet by people they have done this to before.

Well as Promised they called me back at noon because I did not call them back with payment. I let the voice mail pick it up. Again another threat about being arested.

I call back and Talked to a Tim Haufman ext. # 121. This guy took the cake for mean and rude behavior. I was terified and scared and crying, because I did not know what was going on. I asked him for money marts phone number to talk and take care of this trough them that a debt can be taking care of trough payments.

And he very rudly said you are talking to the man who tkae s care of it. And since i was scared and crying he told me you know i tol dou i will give you another couple hours to find the money i dont care if you were laid off from your job just get me the money from a family member or a friend something just take care of it now.

Even if you can't come up with the full ammount I will take care of it for you. And told me i was acting childish and that i was in the wrong for not even telling him thank you.

I contaced Money Mart them selves and they cound't even find me in their records. And told me they have never herd of h&p capital that all thier actions go trough collin finacial services.

I had to write this report because actions need to be taking on this matter. And I need some answers on to what I should do. I have contacted my local law enforcments here and mad e apolice report on them. Hopefull these rude scammers will be delt with.

First of all, quit talking to them. They are scammers that have obtained a database of personal info (probably people who were looking for a loan online) and are trying to scare you into paying them money that you do not owe. In real life, no one gets arrested because they owe money.

You didn't mention it, but the scammers often try to convince you that they are for real by reading off some of the stolen info they have about you. SSNs, addresses, phone numbers, relatives names, etc... If that's the case, then you should contact the 3 credit reporting agencies and get a fraud alert put on your credit report. Previous reports on these scammers indicate that they have more than enough info to steal your identity.
