Have you seen the banner ad for the secret to whiter teeth?

A woman purports to have found the secret and encourages us to get two FREE trials for the cost of shipping and handling. We are told to use the first product and then after that trial, use the second to make up for what the first one lacked. Total outlay about $10.

Thankfully, the first product arrived shortly before my bank statement. It seems that they are a foreign company so a currency conversion fee was applied. (It was worth it because it alerted me to call and cancel).
This arrived under the name Advanced Wellness Research Inc., and the product was called BrightTeeth Whitening System, but neither of these names appeared on the ad or order form. When I've located this I will post another rip-off report).

The second product was from Ivory Brites and arrived one week after I ordered it. Unfortunately, this lag did not fall before the statement. When I noticed a subsequent charge for $89 I called - the 15 day trial had not even lapsed.

Guess what? Their "terms and conditions" included fine print saying that the 15 days INCLUDED time in transit.

I can't prove that they deliberately delayed shipment to more than halve the trial period, but I encourage everyone to stay away from this company.

Lesson learned: Be sure to immediately cancel all "free trials."
