About 5 yrs ago I had the IRS send me a letter saying I owed more than $12000 in back taxes. After reading the reports on here I felt I needed to respond.

It took over two years the claim with the IRS for $2424.00. I jumped through hoops, supplied all the info they needed, couldn't get hold of my rep, and who by the way, seldom returned my calls. It was frustrating, their service sucked, but the end result was worth the frustration. It really came down to which evil organization was it easier to deal with. I wish all who have to deal with the IRS all the luck in the world.
