In 2007, I contacted this fraudlent company after seeing a ommercial claiming that they will fight for you against the IRS. They claimed to have "former IRS Attourneys" working for them. I called and a sales rep came to my house. He wrote me a policy which I thought was for the state and federal taxes and chasrged me $4200.00 dollars. They charged me an extra $160.00 to file my taxes. I filled out the paper work which was mailed to me and the tax info. From that point on nothing worked right. What they did not tell me was thst they do no work on your ase until you have paid the total amount in full. I had made a down payment of $1800.00 with payments each month.

Every 3 months you have to re-submit your information. All of it...accounts, investment, rent or mortgage...everything you submitted the first time until you have paid your total balance. Each time they asked for my paperwork I sent it...but they started saying that they had not recieved my papers. I was still never told that my case was not being worked on. At last the the reession was annoynced, I was making less and less money due to cut backs and had to move. In May of 2009 my check gets garnished. I call JK Harris and get no-one. Leave messages with no return calls. Rep away from desk...will return your call...not!

When I do contact someone she tells me that my case is closed and has to be reopened. She says that there is missng information and that the IRS is saying I never filed taxes for the year I paid for. JK Harris says they don't have a copy of the taxes. I tell them they do because in 2008 they sent me a copy. They have no records of this. I tell them that the IRS and the state say they've never recieved a filing. The JK Harris rep looks at my paper work and say I never paid for the state only the federal. The rep has a copy of my contract, I look at mine and together we see the rep charged me $4200.00 just for the federal issues. JK Harris say's I can include the state for asn extra cost that will be discounted because I am alreaady a customer.

I get copies of my w-2's for that year and take them to the JK Harris rep in Long Beach, CA, January 2010. Yes it's taken this long. The JK Harris bill was paid in 2009. I restart my case and update the records including new power of attorneys and an additional $900.00 for the state. I filed the taxes this time taking them in person to both the state and the federal. I fax everything to JK Harris because the Long Beach rep is out of it now. I faxed the infor 4 times and JK Harris has told me they never recieved it. I tell them to call the IRS and the state and get a copy. Their answer...I did but they never sent it can you fax it again. Finally I called and was tranfered to the claims department when I was told that my case was closed in May of 2009 and could never be opened again.

I ay" what the hell are you taken about" I have talked to numerous people and no-one has ever told me this. Are you te inly one who hgas this unformation. What about my money? The old and new....????? She says "I'm sorry about the mis-understanding, but there is nothing I can do. We view the money as services rendered and you have forefitted the money because you did not send in the paperwork we asked for.

I could not believe my ears. What was the additional charge for to cover the state and what did I pay you for? She said it was for them to right a recommendation to 'me' as to what I should do about the case. Rip-off...I looked at the BBB and found so many simular cases and laims against JK Harris it was not funny. Don't do business with them.
