My wife to be and I were filling out credit apps for a home loan. Her credit is far from perfect however we had already paid off all of her credit dings. Nine months after everything was paid we get a credit check and find Jefferson Capital System on an account opened in may of 2003. Never Happened!!!!

Can't find a phone or fax number, when I got in touch with fingerhut they said that company is no longer in business, they closed in 2002. Several people have gave me phone numbers but so far none are correct. How do I get this off her credit report? Who do I get in touch with? What can I do?

Jefferson capital system they company mysteriously pop up on my credit report which I constantly monitor alerted me saying I had a 6,089 credit card bill that was just added to my account! I found this suspicious because I only own two credit cards !! The company has not even tried to contact me! Internet
