Jefferson Capital System Fraudulant Collection Placed on my Credit Saint Cloud Minnesota

I recently viewed my credit report and saw an open collection account listed with Jefferson Capital System in the amount of $470. Upon calling the number listed on my credit report it connected me to an apartment complex in Reno, Nv. I Googled the company and every number listed was either another recovery company that had no affiliation with Jefferson Capital System or I did speak with a gentleman and he stated that the number I called was their executive offices and gave me a number to call, that it was their consumer affairs dept. Of course, upon calling that number it was a phony as well.
