I just pulled my credit report for the year. What do I find an old (2000 or earlier) debt that originally owed to FIngerhut, had mysteriously appeared on my report. THis thing made my credit score go down by almost 30 pts from last year to this. This debt was discharged from a 2001 bankruptcy chapter 7. I never received any notification that fingerhut sold this as a previous poster noted that you should. The only way I found this was pulling my record. Based on everything that I have read, I am going to go to experian directly to protest the vaildity.
These people really are scam artists!!!

or
contact the lawyer, that handled your chapter 7 and have them take care of it, but follow up in a few weeks.
