We purchased a home from K. Hovnanian at Four seasons in Beaumont, CA, in December of 2011.

Since the time we moved in, we have experienced irrigation water spraying up over our fence and onto our home from the adjacent neighboring homes. The water saturates our walls and windows and leaves hard water stains on the glass panes, making it very difficult to keep the windows clean.  It's not possible to enjoy our patio under these conditions and, in some cases, the water spray is akin to standing on the deck of a boat during a storm. It is apparent that K. Hovnanian improperly designed the sprinkler systems and have thus far failed to take responsibility and correct the problem, and have refused to respond to our numerous complaints. It seems like it would be a relatively easy matter of installing a drip system or replacing the current heads with smaller, low angle emitters, but no response or acknowledgement has been forthcoming.

On their web site they talk about how they strive for customer service excellence but when the rubber meets the road, K. Hovnanian fails miserably.  Talk is cheap.

If you are considering a Four Seasons home, beware.  Don't believe the hype.  Better yet, consider looking elsewhere for your home and you may just avoid the frustration we are experiencing...
