Had a simple lockset in a deadbolt and my house key stopped working.  I called the company to have them come out and rekey.  Was quoted $19 for the trip and another $19 for the rekey but that it could be more onc ethe tech arrived and assessed the situation.  I said OK as and if I was going to be charged more becasue it's the weekend, it could wait as I have two entry doors. Tech called half hr later and asked me what the issue was.  I explained that I used to rekey locks myself but didn't have the rekey kit to do it.  Told him the lock was removed and disassembled and all he needed to do was open the tumbler set and replace a couple of tumblers and I'd put it together and reinstall. 

He said it sounded like a simple job an could be there in half an hr and it would take 10mins and $40 estimate.  I said OK.  Two hrs go by and no tech.  I tried calling the tech, no answer. I called the main line and they said they'd track him down.  20mins later, the main office called and told me for the tech to come out it would now be $120.  I blew up and asked why, we had an understanding and the tech never came out to even look at the issue.  The guy said he didn't know why, it's just what the tech was telling him now. Unbelieveable!  I told them I could by 5 lock sets for this kind of money and it pays to be self sufficient and a jack of all trades and I'd just by new lock sets for a whole lot cheaper and change them out myself.  

These are are indians at the main office.  I see this many times as they come to America and we give them an opportunity and they take advantage.  Just sad people want to take advantage of others.  Do not use this company.  They go by many names and have multiple email addresses.  Jackels tearing at the soft belly of the hard workers in America.
