MegaGoods.com Megagoods.com are a ripoff! There free trial membership is not free. Los Angeles California

I just found out on April 26, 2008 that the supposedly free 30 days trial membership with Megagoods.com was not free. I was charge on my credit card for two months of membership that I cancel before the 30 days was up. I actually cancel a week before the 30 days trial period had ended.

I contacted there customer support the following Monday (April 28), and was told that they could not find the email I sent to them even those I use the member customer support email address they have provide on there website when I sent the cancellation email to them. I was told to call them back later on that day while they (supposedly) sort thru all the emails they have receive. Just before I hang up with them the customer support representative I was talking with told me that if they can not find my email and if I can't find a copy of the email I sent them that they will only refund me one month of charges($14.95) the other month I will have to paid.

I call back later on that day was told that they could not find the email I sent them and that they refund me only one month of membership charges not the two months they owe me. They also told me that they cancel my membership today(April 28, 2008). I was very disappointed that a supposedly free trial membership was not free as advertised and that it will cost me $14.95 for a service that I did not use. There customer support people was rude and not helpful at all and I suspect this was not the first time they got over on customers.
