We called them up to have our service disconnected because we were moving. Instead of just turning it off, they sent one of their goons out, who ripped the whole thing out of the wall, leaving a huge hole in the wall of our home, which was under contract at the time. I was aghast, but naive in the sense that I just convinced myself that ''maybe that's normal when u cancel your alarm system?" We paid to fix the hole in the wall and moved out. Fast That was Feb 2013. Fast forward 90 days to May of 2013. Melissa calls up my husband and tells him that if we don't renew their services, we will be charged $60. He did not really know any better, I guess he assumed we really were under contract and said "OK, I guess??"" because he didn't want to pay them $60. They immediately debited our account for $35 and arranged to have one of their guys come out to our new home and reinstall the alarm. When I found out about this call, I was furious, as it was obviously extortion and I was still mad about their service guy ripping a hole in our wall on the disconnect. I called them up--June 4 and spoke with Valicia. She assured me this whole thing was a mix-up and she'd cancel it all and get it straightened out. She was also supposed to cancel the the reinstall and get us a refund for the $35. A few days later, their alarm guy shows up at our house to do the reinstall. I informed that there was a mix-up and there would be installation that day. He left.

As of 7/2/2013, we still had not recieved a refund for the $35 for the month of June but we have received more letter stating that we will be charged again on 7/5 for the month of July, another $35. I called them up and this time, sat on the phone around 45 minutes and was passed back and forth amongst their employees. A male Cust Serv person finally got on the phone with me and long story short: accused me of lying about the 6/4 call. supposedly their ''documents'' state that my husband made that call, not me. Their ''documents'' also state that instead of me telling them to cancel everything on that call, they were told by my husband to reinstate the contract. Their cust serv guy then told me they were going to have to dig through every one of our recorded calls in order to determine whether we were lying or not about requesting a cancellation. SHADY, SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!
