My daughters myspace page was hacked into by some people who have been harrasing her for many months. They downloaded pornograghic photos. there is an ongoing criminal case against these people for agravated harrassment and criminal mischief for personal threats and vandalism to our vehicle. all the lug nuts on one tire were loosened to cause an accident.I only wanted to get in touch with myspace to request the IP address on the intruder to file charges and to stop this crapp from continuing any further.
There are no valid contact numbers abd the email address doesnt allow me to submit anything to them as well.I cannot believe that a company this big cannot be contacted to report this type of mischief. How can people be allowed to invade her privacy, download porno,and not be hel accountable for their actions. my Daughter is only fifteen years old and has now been exposed to this filth and I feel completely helpless to do anything at all. Can anyone please help me out here?

for Myspace is listed with the Better Business Bureau. I had my wife contact myspace to DELETE my stepson's myspace page because of information that was on it.
FYI myspace (or any website) is NOT going to give you the IP address of any poster. Even if they did give you the IP address of the poster it wouldn't do YOU any good whatsoever, because then you have to go to the internet service provider (ISP) to get the location of the computer used. The ISP is NOT going to produce that location information for you.
Myspace and the ISP WILL DISCLOSE the information if it is requested by law enforcement as part of a legitimate criminal investigation (law enforcement subpeonaes the information) or if the information is subpeanaed as part of a civil court action.
I suggest you file criminal complaints with your local police and then discuss this matter with the investigating office. The investigating office can obtain the information about the perpetrators from myspace and the ISP.
