I would have to say that I had mediocre service from Official Pest Prevention at best. Some of the service people were very nice but the people at the office were horrible.

I sold my house (in 2002) so I no longer needed their services. I told them that I did not need the upcoming spraying because I was leaving. I still kept getting bills for $79.00 for services not rendered. I called them up in 2002 and spoke to someone who said that they would straighten it out and I never heard from them again.

Over three years later I received a notice that I have been sent to collections for an outstanding balance of $106.29 (79 + fees). I couldn't believe it! I haven't heard from them in over three years. So I called the collections company who referred me back to Official Pest Prevention. I spoke to Jaime (wouldn't give me the last name) who said that he was the owner. He said that according to his records on 4/16/02 and spoke to someone and acknowledged that I owed them money.

Over three years ago, I couldn't believe it! I told him that that is not the case and he cut me off. From this point on he was the rudest person I ever talked to on the phone and I couldn't believe that he was the owner. I told him that his records are wrong and he told me that he is glad I am no longer a customer because he has customers who pay their bills. I told him that this was his problem because I would have easily paid such a small amount as $79.00 to get rid of this but I didn't get the service.

I asked him why I haven't been contacted in over three years and he gave me a lame excuse. The bottom line is DO NOT do business with them. If Jaime is truly their owner then I feel sorry for their employees and their clients. Don't subject yourself to rude service and bad business.
