Official Pest Prevention I signed a 6 month contract. At the time I was very clear that I wanted it for 6 months only. Now they are trying to tell me I needed to send them a 30 day written notice. No where on the contract does it say that after my 6th month contract I needed to notify them. Scam artists!!! Elk Grove California

I refused to sign a year contract, so in order to get my business the amended the term of contract to 6 months. At that time I made it clear that I only wanted the 6 months. That contract was completed in July 2014. Now they are saying I owe them for another service visit since I did not notify them in writing 30 days in advance. For one thing the contract clearly states "After the original one-year period, service will be rendered until a written 30-day notice of cancellation is received." Since this is a contract wording must be exact! Since I did not sign a one year contract then this codicil does not apply. I feel like I gave them their notice when I signed the contract anyway. Now they are threatening to send it to collections. They are scam artists and would rather try to intimidate customers then promote good will . I will never do business with them again an urge you not to as well.
