This is the same as all the others, the product was not the value we was told we had. We bought a Peter Max at the starting bid of 8,000 and the appraised value was 25,000 so we thought we got a good value. After we got home and received the art work we checked out the value with an appraser we knew and he said that it would only apprase for 3,000 and that would be for insurance purposes only. He said that he would only put it in his storr for 1,500.

We were duped and since they said no refunds we were left with something we paid more than 2times the price we should have. We was given that story that buying it on the cruis that this was 40 to 70 percent lower than what we would pay for at a normal auction or at retail.

Today 3 years later, looking at my painting on the web it is only selling for 2,000 at the most and I found one that was for sale for 850, 100 times less than what I paid for it. Let the buyer beware when it comes to Parkwest and don't buy from them.
