Palisades Collection Plaza Associates ripoff dishonest frauldent billing collection attempt New York New York
*Consumer Suggestion: Peter, Palisades is just a JUNK DEBT BUYER, and..
Palisades Collection LLC tried some months ago to collect $16,966.61, with a 40% discount, on behalf of Household Bank. I told them to send verification, signed agreements etc. and have had no reply.
Now I receive a collection letter for the same amount, no discount, from Plaza Associates on behalf of Palisades Collection LLC and Household Bank. I will send them certified mail again disputing the debt and seeking verification, signed agreements etc.
This is all BOGUS and an attempted ripoff.

Peter,
Palisades is not responding to your validation request because they cannot validate/document the "debt".
Now that they have not responded to 2 different validation requests, just send them a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS request as per your rights under the FDCPA. In this request be sure to clearly deny the debt, and inform them that they have failed to respond to both of your validation requests and now they are not to contact you ever again or they will be sued for FDCPA violations which you have documented.
Send this letter by certified mail, return reciept requested. Put the certified# on the letter itself, and keep a copy for your records.
The next step is to file the lawsuit when they violate.
