My 18 year old daughter bought an airline ticket through priceline. During the process the ticket she was purchasing supposedly became unavailable and therefore her information was pulled through to another ticket purchase. As she was using my credit card, it somehow reverted my name to the passenger and she did not catch it on the edit page. This girl works as a waitress and is a senior in high school who busts her a$$ for her money. We had to cancel the flight, can get no refund, and the ticket may be reissued for elsewhere with a $150.00 fine and it may only be reissued to me.
Even when I contacted priceline management team, they told me that as I made my cancellation through the airline rather than through them that they could not help me, but it was their own supervisor whol told me to deal with the airlines and that they may be able to help.
PRICELINE SCREWS YOU OVER!!!!

Jam's right, Priceline is a RIP-OFF!!! DON'T TRUST THOSE OUTSOURCED A$$HOLES!!!

I agree with Jam on this, thanks for your input...
Priceline says "Name your own price," but what they tell you AFTER the fact; is that if anything goes wrong with your flight, car rental, hotel reservation, anything they provide... They still pocket the money, regardless...
I had a nightmare of a flight last year, and needed to get back to my military base. I told Priceline that I needed to get back early. They couldn't change the ticket, even when I needed to be back at the base. They insisted I showed them my orders with a signature by my commanding officer.
My orders are confidential, and Priceline of all people should know that for security reasons: we aren't allowed to show our "orders" to anybody. We cannot fax or e-mail them over an unsecured line, and we can't entail the specifics of our orders.
They pocketed more than $180.00 of my return ticket, because I wouldn't violate my oath to the military and National Security Protocol.
Two weeks ago, I rented a car through Priceline, but was unable to get the car. Priceline's representative said, "Sir, even if you don't get the car rental, we still keep the amount of $153.85."
I fought with them about that, and because my flight was delayed on the account of the pilot not having numbers for the plane before take-off at another location. We were 45 minutes late getting in. Priceline said, "Well, we can refund the money if we talk to corporate, but we'll have to retain a $14.00 fee because you were late coming in." Once again, I explained to the lady that because the pilot wasn't prepared, the customer shouldn't be held liable."
The only good that came out of this, was after much deliberation and a lot of unecessary waiting... I finally got my $153.85 redeposited into my bank account.
Priceline is a headache and a half!!! Don't trust them, ever!!!
