PURRfect Auto Service They tried to rip me off on A/C work WORST AUTO SHOP IN VEGAS Las Vegas, Nevada

 I bought my car in on the first 107 degree day of las vegas for a/c check. The a/c on the car stopped blowing cold air the day before. Behind the cashier, there is an offer for a free a/c check (visual). I asked him if they couldn't see anything wrong visually to charge the system and check with uv light for leaks. The said that the service for that is 39.95, I agreed, signed, and gave them my keys. Once the car was in their bay the mechanic came out and told me to come over to the car showed me a major leak of the front seal of the a/c compressor. He never charged the system or ran a uv light on it. (All visual inspection). The shop manager said we can fix this for you for 1800 today. I know the job is about 4 hours of labor and 5-7 hundred in parts. I knew they were overcharging. I told them no thanks, i will just take my keys. I went back in to the lobby and the cashier charged me the 39.95!!! for a visual inspection! that they advertised as free! I will never go to a purr-fect auto, what a rip. I got the job done at a great shop in summerlin that specializes in a/c work for 1200 less!
