Sandisk uses false advertising in an attempt to rip off consumers Milpitas California

Sandisk recently sent out an email to all subscribers, outlining a series of specials on many of their products, including USB flash drives and a variety of memory cards.

However, when I attempted to purchase these items, the total in my online shopping cart was based on the regular prices, not the sale prices. When I attempted to enquire about this, I was told that there was a problem with the website and that it would be rectified shortly. When I returned to the website (it was unavailable for a short period) all the sale prices were gone, and the products that had previously been discounted were labeled as out of stock.

This act of drawing people to a website with false advertising, and attempting to charge full price at checkout is a clear abuse of the consumer on the part of Sandisk. If Sandisk wishes to retain the respect and interest of the consumer, they should either admit that the original pricing was wrong and issue an official apology, or sell the product as advertised for the duration of the posted sale.
