i have been charged $74.95 twice on a closed shell credit card by simple escapes. i never heard of such a company. when i called the number its not in use. how they got my closed account number for shell is beyond me. when i called shell i was told that a gas card is like any credit card its not only for gas.. thats when i closed the account. now i got a statement from shell saying i owe $152.12 to simple escapes again the call to them did not go thru. any credit card company should accounted for any charges on card that has not been made by the cardholder. this account has been closed with $000.00 balance and they send me this statement..................what can i do???
