I found out stamps.com has been charging me since 12/2008.They charge me $17.99 a months for 53 months.
I thought my staffs buying stamps. the manager from stamps.com told me I was signed up to stamps.com when I filled up my information in marketing survey.
The manager from stamps.com gave me months credit back to my credit cards $54.00.
I was not informed either notified from stamps.com at all from 12/2008 to today.
I did not received any monthly statement nor notification to my e mail from stamps.com.
This is real big scam, and criminal business.

Hi James,
We are sorry you feel this way about Stamps.com and appreciate your feedback. To create and fully activate a Stamps.com account, our multi-step registration process must take place at our website of www.stamps.com. Contact and billing information must be entered manually at our site in order for an account to be created.
Our system is not engineered to create accounts without prior initiation from our customers. We require that our customers walk through the entire process of account creation, which includes the keying in of personal and financial information. During the process of registration, we present fee and Trial Period information. Our billing structure is also explained before we ask for a credit card. Stamps.com follows up immediately with a Welcome E-mail that reiterates this process. We also ask customers interested in our service to read the Service Agreement and the information contained in their Welcome E-mail. Furthermore, monthly invoices are also sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.
We do apologize if there was a misunderstanding and we would be happy to assist you further. Please email your account information (full name, email address and phone number) and additional details of your conversation to social@stamps.com so we may further assist you.
Sincerely,
Divya

I generally feel some sympathy for people who get screwed on auto-pay subscriptions like this. In your case, my sympathy would have stopped some time back in 2008 when you neglected to check your bank statement. How do you go that long without checking it?????
