The Discount Warehouse is a broker company that sells truckloads of customer returns, overstocks, etc. by using websites and email.

Our company ordered a truckload of customer returns from a major company (Home Depot) and paid The Discount Warehouse for this truckload using a wire transfer of $4700.00. This payment was for an advertised (and discussed by telephone) truckload consisting of 36 pallets of merchandise. This was an unmanifested truckload and therefore was not dependant on piece count but rather pallet count.

Our company received the load and it only contained 24 pallets. We contacted the Discount Warehouse by phone and was ignored. We contacted The Discount Warehouse by email and these emails received no response. We contacted the dispatcher for the trucking company and he advised us that there pickup was for 24 pallets. Obviously The Discount Warehouse sold us 36 pallets and only ordered 24 pallets.

Our company then contacted The Better Business Bureau of Southeast Florida and they created a complaint and notified The Discount Warehouse of this complaint. The Discount Warehouse responded to this complaint with statements that were false and did not address the issue. Our company responded that the response by The Discount Warehouse was unsatisfactory. The Discount Warehouse refused to respond to this rebuttal and our case was closed by the Better Business Bureau as unresolved.

We still have not received our additional 12 pallets or the money we paid for these pallets. Also, we have received no correspondence from The Discount Warehouse at all. At this point, we do not know where to turn. Isn't this fraud? Don't these people owe us either our merchandise or the money for the merchandise? Who do we call for help?
