I also fell for the nice young college kid (a female) trying to sell magazines gave her a check, then in my gut did not feel right checked online found this site with others that had been ripped off by the scam.

So I called Police, the girl had only a name badge and a debit card no other ID on her. There was no mercantile license filed either. When the van came to pick her up the girl and the van driver got tickets. My Police dept kept all the girls paperwork to contact all involved.

They had just been klicked out of the next town over also---I see someone from Bradley Beach on here too- so they are saturating the NJ shore---Tell Everyone you know
