TRIPRES TRAVEL GUARD TRITRIPRES TOLD ME TRAVEL GUARD WOULD PROTECT IN CASE OF AIRLINE, SHOW OR ILLNESS INTERNET, Internet

i made reservations for a room in jan 2012 in vegas through tripres for the celine dion show in march. i was told about travel guard insurance it would help if i had to cancel because of airline, an illness or a canceled show. they did not tell me i had to buy the tickets from them, to be protected. i had the tickets already before contacting tripres. when celine canceled her show i called that day and  was told to call travel guard, they told me i could not get a refund because the tickets were not bought through tripres. i called tripres and pretended to want a room and was told about travel guard again and  no mention of having to get tickets through them to be covered for a cancellation. i have tried to get chris elliott involved to help me get a refund, but no response from him. i am 69 years old and this trip was a big deal, however i am afraid to even go to the internet again to help with a trip.
