U Haul Tires Blew out on not one but 2 trips in a row! Spokane Washington

The end of May my husband rented a U Haul to move out of a house we sold in WA state. He was driving on I-5 when not one but 2 tires blew on the right side of the truck. Luckily the truck did not roll and he was not injured. However it creates many issues trying to get it repaired, and set him back a day in travel. Now we complain, and they give us a day rental free and a coupon towards the next rental - assuring me that this was a rare incident and they care so much and service is their priority - yeah right. Two weeks later my husband is doing the same trip to get the balance of the the belongings left at the house. He is driving in what was supposed to be a a truck that they fully inspected and the maintenance has been kept up and should not encounter any problems, 2 more tires blow while he is driving down the freeway!!! And a third was on its way. What are the odds?? Now they are arguing about a refund, like how on earth could this happen and you not stand behind the product and treat the customer fairly and with respect?? Instead they are doing an investigation - Really it is not my problem what issues you have with your equipment, it is your responsibility - you are in the business of renting trucks, dont they have to go through service checks, isn't that part of why you use them? Because you can rest assured they perform maintenance checks?? Is it my responsibility? Maybe I should have had to pay for the 3 tires they replaced to! Buyer beware! They do not honor their contracts and they do not care about your safety. They have no integrity. Rent from Ryder or Penske, the guys who replaced the tires on both occasions said they would not recomend U Haul to anyone - they are called to do more repairs on their trucks than all others combined.
