We received a letter in the mail stating my husband was guaranteed a $5000.00 check if he would just sign the release form and return it in provided envelope. he returned the form. We began receiving calls about our money waiting for him. We hung up on them. Then my husband received a call fom someone saying they were from the U.S. Dept of the Treasury and we were being victimized.

We said we did not want the money. Another call the next day saying they had validated the check and it was good and were we sure we did not want it! We would just need to pay some large amount of money to pay taxes to get the money into this country. We repeated we did not want anything except to be left alone. The U. S. Dept of Treasury International Relations needs to look into this as someone is using their name.
