United Air Comfort ripoff San Diego / Sonoma / Vannuys California

We responded their ad for Air conditioning check-up for $24.00 On 9/27/03, Terry Snow showed up to do the job and found out that we need a new unit. He explained in detail and we let him measure everything that need to be written in the contract. So we signed the contract for $2,360.00 and put 10% ($236.00) as required down payment by him.

3 days latter on the schedule date to install the new unit, Fernando and his assistance(instead of Terry Snow) showed up with the new unit that actually was not written in the contract. Fernando said this is the right unit that will fit to our system and we have to pay additional $1,100.00 He persuading us for almost an hour that we have to go with that new unit system he brought. my wife knew that something fishy going on with their business practice, so we firmly asked them to do it according to the original contract paper, but they did not want to do it so we asked for the our deposit money back.

BUT WE NEVER GOT IT BACK EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE ALREADY CALLED THEIR COMPANY BACK AND FORTH AND SEEM LIKE EVERYONE WHO ANSWERED OUR CALLED THEY JUST PING-PONG US ENDLESSLY. We got so frustrated and forced us to write this ripoff letter to save other people money.
We were so shocked when we checked in the internet to find out their business reputation that they have ripped off a lot of people.

If we don't have our deposit back soon, we will pursue it at the small claim court.
