After judgment, sent it to collection agent,they let the vendors, creditors, credit bureau know, as well other public records have researched and found more information about the individuals, because they hide under the corporate veil. shield anything that is known about the individuals they detest that information, unfortunate, and disturbing that may be,its true copies.theses people are responsible for and held accountable for the debts.

A default was issued when they didnt appear for pretrial, then they filed a motion to set aside the judgment, when that was heard by judge, no reason for failure to appear,or a defense to claim,motion denied,judgment by default filed,recorded,and lien filed,

The collection will be long and ardous probably,this is an expensive process,so do your research and be diligent and persistent, dont give up, Mark Berch,and the officers,will be brought to justice at this writing most cases have been civil action, it must be proven that they are indeed criminals.

This is to all you poor used and abused employees, customers and ex-employees. I hope some restitution comes for all of you from this scam company or the people who have worked there.
I feel for the women in the hospital and the husband who was subjected to this companies corruption and broken promises.

I just want to interject my input as I saw this company (United Air Comfort/ United Restoration, what ever the latest name is) I knew that this place was a rip-off the 1st week that Mr. John Stephan Lucas decided to accept a position with this company in largo and then trained in Oldsmar to learn how to screw people in Orlando.

Not only did he and this company use my money to buy gas, tools, a truck, uniforms costs for this fake test and a huge cell phone bill so he could call customers and the shop and he was on his own in 3 days. Work 12 to 20+ hours a day and yes made about $2.00-$4.00 an hour, They also promised him plenty of money to be a manager after 1 month of working with them, and yes his checks were always short, or not there or their was a problem with getting them on pay day, they made many promises and never kept any of them. Before my kids and I had no where to live or may have had no food on the table, I got out of Florida and left John S. Lucas when he decided that the company needed him to come live in Orlando so they taunted him to come and promised that they would move us also to Orlando, whether this was the companies lie or Johns, he told me they would even open a place for him in Minnesota so we could move back due to the poor schools systems, I didn't believe it.

Knowing little about the company and schools in Orlando, I felt this job for him was not going to work out and this company was just a scam, gee I WAS RIGHT!! I guess he quit in September or somewhere around that time. Well not only is this company a joke and taking advantage of many people and I saw it when John S Lucas would come home and tell me what he had to do and say to customers to get money out of them, and even if they didn't need a part, he stated he would tell them it cost higher then it really should have, it just was unbelievable and unethical in my opinion, this was nice! On our bulletin board was a remark that his boss gave him in Oldsmar it said " Here's a Bat use it the next time a customer doesn't pay for services" with a picture of a bat. Nice huh.

Skilled con-artist, a thief, liar, and uses women and children and their $$$$$$$ to get what he wants or needs.
So all of you who donated money to him for what he wanted to call his son (He has no son) that died of leukemia, he lied to get money from this company and his co-workers to pay for his white mustang that is where your money went to, because when he came up to Minnesota for this false funeral, I was told he had around five thousand dollars well me and my boys, mind you my boys not his didn't see one penny of it, and my son is not dead and anyone who lies about a child being dead, who is in my opinion is a very ill mentally and needs sever physcolgical help. Then to have taken his wallet, money, gift cards and us my blockbuster card and never return the movies or his wallet is pathetic. I truly wonder if this new girl friend has any idea of what John Lucas is all about, I feel for ya Shauna, oh I guess you two got it on while he was still with me, that's also very pleasant not to mention he lied to you while he was up here with me. By the way he has a little girl that's about 9 yrs old who he doesn't pay child support for most of the time, he likes to use the women in his life to support him and help pay for her, he used up my ten thousand dollars by convincing me that moving to Florida was going to be grand and how wonderful he and his family was, he has cost me more than I can tell, he also screwed my girlfriend and her parents.

I am truly sorry to those innocent people who he has screw out of money, love or possessions or the use of your cell phone and running up a bill of any kind in your name and some how has put you in dept, like he has done to me and my kids. Not only for United Air comfort people but others like me who tried to be their for him and the friends or decent co-workers who donated money for my son whose not dead, and we never got any of it or any one who felt sorry for him that have gotten screwed also.

I also heard that he was doing business on the side by repairing air conditioners. Well I can say he'll screw them any way he can, Just like Mark and the rest of them.

In my small claims case they said I was negigent, careless, reckless and conducted selves so as to directly and legally contribute to the happenings and occurences, and that is not factual, when they sold me alot of parts, and removed a relay when it was marked as o.k. on their checklist, they were paid upfront,before the system would run,and promised the would return in a week, to install that, by now I was out $300.00,and when they did finally show up with relay,at no charge,the next day,nothing worked,I called another company in,because I would never hire United to even drive up my property ever,when the other company showed up in company vehicle,in uniform,identifiable,and reliability was given consideration,after a complete unit recheck,and service,and diagnosis ws done,the system still wouldnt operate,it was then found that the blower fan motor had burnt out,which directly indicated that the A/C had been tampered with,rewired wrong,and caused the motor to fail,the inside coil was also cleaned out,by the new technician,not just spraying solution on ousideof intake,the coil was icing up,after United put on transformer,and contactor,added 2 lbs freon,removed the relay,brought relay back in a week,and then total failure,regardless of if their warranty is an issue,or not,I wouldnt use united to clean my toilet,The total then came to an added expense of $400 more,so $700 for repairs was sought by attorney,and $500.00 fees,I only had fixed income,so the lawyer resigned,I will continue to pursue a resolution,as it is more clear that the information provided by consumers, better business bureau, other state suspensions of company licenses that they are fraudulent, and scammers, and thats the word, better beleive it.
