United Air Comfort - United Restoration ripoff Cashed a post dated check before the date on the check, which was given to them at their suggestion Deerfield Beach Florida

The first appointment was scheduled 30 days later than I asked. I should have known something was wrong when I called and told them no one showed for the appointment or called to say they were not coming I was not appologied too. Do you want to schedule another date and time? After setting the date I was told someone would be there between 1:p.m & 4p.m.

No one showed up until 6p.m. The tech said Ms. Jackson I'm here to clean your vents. We answered the door the tech came in and worked until 10:30 that night. By this time my cost had gone up from 39.95 + 19.95 to tune up the furnance to $300. He said I will have to come back tomorrow to finish so you can only pay $200 tonight and $150 when the job finishes.

On thur Nov.6th at about 9am he was back. He told me I needed a new drip pan for a/c but i have to go to Home Depot to pick up one. He came back and inspected the outside a/c unit he shows us how dirty it was and it needed cleaning,also i needed a float switch on the drip pan to avoid over flows which had occured the week before. He told that he had put mastic seals on his vents which saved his family a great deal in medical bills. Total for these items $389. Oh I can't afford that right now.

Well I can call and see if my manager will let me take a post dated check. Until what date was my question? About two weeks. No that won't work because I won't have money until the first of Dec. Let me see call my manager.

He calls someone and told me it was okay. When he finish which was almost 11pm. The float switch he could not get it on right and had to call for another tech. He came around 9 or 9:30 and they worked to get it on.

So far I haven't had any problems with the work; my problem is they ran the check through my account not only did they take all of my money but that caused about 4 checks to not clear my account plus I don't have any money to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for my family.

I called and called only to get hung up on, told someone will call you back and to top it off I talked to Loraine who said I don't understand what you want me to do . You got the work and you paid for and not going to authorize a refund.I told her I need my money put back in my account. I would like to say that I believe the tech was geniune so far he tried to help me,the man he told me to talk to Mr. Neimier never took my call.
