University of Maryland University College UMUC, UMUC Europe, UMUC Asia FRAUDULENT BILLING, VIOLATION OF CIVIL RIGHTS, VIOLATION SERVICEMEMBERS CIVIL RELIEF ACT, CRIMES AGAINST SOLDIERS Largo Maryland

University of Maryland University College, and the State Central Collection Unit of Maryland, is guilty of fradulent billing practices, harassment, violation of civil rights, and violation of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act which is set in place to prevent predatory activity and harassment against Active Duty Soldiers and their family during wartime. This institution has harassed myself and my family since January 2013. Even after the many attempts made to arbitrate, the University and its affiliates have remained unwilling to work towards resoluton and cease the harassment and detrimentary action. 

The actions on part of the Univeristy which have directly resulted in harm to myseld and my family are as follows: 

• Unlawful billing of charges incurred by absense at school due to following military order
• Refusal to acknowledge Civil Rights and legislation which prevents institution for imposing charges and penalties against soldiers in such an instance. 
• Harassment of soldier, and family, during deployment to combat zone...even upon notification
• HOLD on servicemembers transcript due to the fraudulent billing for charges never incurred in this incident, which prevented transfer away from this predatory institution.
• False derogatory information reported to credit file as direct result of this unlawful action taken against servicemember both during, prior, and after deployment to combat zone. 
• Preventing Servicemember from obtaining college education due to holding transcript hostage
• DENAIL OF MORTGAGE LOAN TO DIRECTLY TO THE FALSE DEROGATORY CREDIT INFORMATION REPORTED TO SERVICEMEMBERS CREDIT FILE AS RESULT OF FRAUDULENT BILLING ACTION AND CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION

To date, a total of 40 documented attempts to bring resolution to this situation in the best interest of avoiding a court trial can be demonstrated on part of myself and my spouse. The harassment, the pain and suffering, that we both have suffered as a result of collection actions, the denial of a home loan, the negative credit information, the fact I cannot get my student loans out of forebearance due to their actions preventing me from completing my education...has been a huge gesture of purposeful violation and disrespect against me, all the while with the knowledge that I was...and am...an ACTIVE DUTY SERVICEMEMBER IN THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE. 

Being a predatory organization, that preys on vulnerable military families because they are most often enlisted and unable to take the time from work to take legal action against such organizations...is not only disgusting and unethical but it is also highly illegal.
