While eating breakfast with my family I received a phone call from an over-seas telemarketer named "Keving Williams" (who didn't even prounounce his own 'name' correctly) saying that I would receive a 50 dollar gas card and a 25 dollar card for dining. All I had to pay was $4.95 for shipping. To hurry back to my bacon and eggs I quickly asked "what else will my card be charged for?" and they replied "absolutely nothing." I even repeated this question before giving them my card number.

After releasing my card information they told me that I could get back to my breakfast after going through what they called a "verification process". This was a computer automated system to verify the information they had given me, and what I had in turn given to them (address, ph #, card # etc). During this automated session I was informed by the computer that I would "only be charged 24.95 per mo to subscribe to Value Benefits of America, at which point I promptly decided my verification process was indeed over.

I got a call back immediately, Keving asking me "why you hang up?". I told him nicely that I was not interested in the service and that I was having breakfast with my kids. I hung up.

I got another call back, asking why I hung up on him. He sounded desperate, as if someone was standing over him whipping him for not making the sale. I told him, a little less nicely this time, that I hung up because I was not interested in the service-the same reason that I'm hanging up now...click.

I continued to receive calls from this company every 15-30 minutes throughout my day. They even resorted to pleaing with my answering machine, "Miss Kelly, PLEASE pick up..."I finally picked up the phone in a fit of instanity or rage and implored "Why do you people keep calling me! STOP calling me!" Kevin/Keving replied that I did not understand the service.

This continued on and on until this morning, when I picked up the phone and in my best scary voice screamed "HELLO!" Keving's supervisor told me that since I had already "authorized the card" that I would have to cancel after receiving my package and that until then I would be cahrged 24.95 per month.

I made it very clear to him, "You are not authorized to charge my card diddly, nor are you authorized to call my home and bother my family again". After many times of pleading with me, I repeated this again in my scary voice twice more, and added like a mother would to a child, "Am I CLEAR?" He said yes and hung up.

My card has only been charged 2.95 (which amt doesn't even match what they told me originally) but I know they are digging into my acct for more. I've had to cancel my debit card.

I've never been stalked like this by a scorned boyfriend, much less a telemarketer! These people are creepy! Beware!!!
