I recently discovered unauthorized withdrawals under $50 from my bank account charged to the letters "VBA".  After much searching, I was able to track down the following companies registered to the following addresses and company individual names. 

My bank has shown zero interest in tracking down this company, or in having them produce any kind of authorization for these charges.  I suspect however, that this is a relatively sophisticated scam outfit, and they might be able to effectively falsify such authorization.  

I have a trace memory of recieving a call from a telemarketer around the time this started, the caller was offering me free coupons.  I think the point of the call was to trick me into saying the word "Yes".  They already had my account information, and all they needed was a voice recording.

It's obvious they know how to the work the system and avoid prosecution.  I can't be the only victim, and I see reports about these organizaitons going back for many years.

Lessons learned:  1. hawkishly look over your finances 2. your bank doesn't care 3. never talk to telemarketers
